🚗State Farm has launched a Distracted Driving Awareness Campaign ~ A few seconds can change everything! 🚗

Distracted driving is preventable - and it increases crash risk fast. Safety research indicates that taking your eyes off the road for just 2 seconds can double your crash risk. Texting takes about 4.6 seconds on average; at 55 mph, that’s roughly the length of a football field traveled with eyes off the road. Research also associates texting while driving with a 23× higher likelihood of a safety‐critical event.

How can you reduce distraction?

· Enable Do Not Disturb while driving

· Set navigation and music before you drive

· Pull over safely if you must read or respond

Outside the office, I enjoy traveling, golfing, hiking, and fishing, and spending time with my wife, Erin, and our three busy children. You’ll often see our team and families out supporting local events and causes. I’m grateful to work alongside a dedicated team that reflects strong values and a commitment to service.
