"I would NOT recommend Becky with the Rob Garner State Farm Insurance agency. She will tell you anything you want to hear in order to gain your trust and business and waste your time. I was shopping for car insurance after experiencing a premium increase. Becky led me to believe that State Farm would be able to offer me coverage at an affordable rate. I explained to Becky that within the last three years I had several claims on my insurance- after many years with no claims, so I was hesitant to proceed with the application process. The claims were a combination of glass, roadside assistance, and minor collision claims. I was aware that my premiums may be higher due to this circumstance. Becky assured me that it is not the practice of her company/office to run the standard reports on new policies like most companies. After several questions and clarifying some details for the new policy the quote she gave me was within a decent range and that I need not worry. So I purchased the policy. When I received the policy a few days later there was a driver on the policy that should not have been listed so I contacted her and asked for the additional driver to be removed. Keep in mind that Becky specifically asked me about this person when she was writing the policy and I told her that they should NOT be added. So when I asked for the policy to be corrected State Farm decided to run the reports that Becky assured me would not be run. I spoke with Becky on the phone a few days later and in a very patronizing tone she said “You are not going to like this…” and proceeded to tell me my policy was being canceled due to the number of claims on a previous policy- that State Farm ran the reports which she said State Farm would not run. This was obviously a lie that I foolishly believed. The explanation she gave was “because the policy was still new and it needed a correction within just a week of being written the company sometimes runs the standard reports as a protocol. If it weren’t for the mistake on the policy this would not have happened.” I expressed that because of her mistake I was now forced to again shop for car insurance. Then Becky said that State Farm would have run the reports no matter what- which a few days prior she said they would not run! Not only was I lied to, but I was humiliated by being told that it was my fault that this happened- I had multiple claims in a short time period and the only reason the policy was approved originally was because of having the other driver on the policy. The auto insurance industry is a terrible system. When you have to use your insurance it works against you. Agents like Becky will do and say anything to get you to trust them regardless of your situation."

"Worst Insurance experience of my life, story after Story, nobody to advocate for a fake claim even though they see I never made a claim an adjuster did and it was never paid because it didn't exist. They couldn't care less go somewhere else. Anywhere in my opinion."

We hate to lose your business and to see anyone upset. With that said, State Farm wants to keep rates low for all of our clients. The average person has 1 home claim every 15 years. When an insured has multiple claims in 5 years, they evaluate the risk, look at the type of claims, and use a propensity model to determine the likelihood claims will continue. This is a common practice with all insurance companies and in response to the biggest question that we get asked...why does my rate go up if i never have a claim? This is in response to those clients as rate and the broad coverage we provide is the two most important concerns clients have. I am always available if you wish to discuss further. Claims are usually on the record for 3 years when quoting new business and would be eligible to come back if you are inclined after 3 years from the last claim. "I'm a loyalist and trust is BIG for me. I've worked with one insurance broker for over 30 years. She had my complete trust in insurance rates and care for my family. She recently explained the best rates she could find for me and felt that Carl at State Farm could possibly provide better. I was stunned by her advice and respected her honesty. I reached out to Carl, which was very personal and professional. He connected with me easily and we found common ground fast. That's hard to do with a guy that has trust issues.. lol.. Anyway, he compared the deck plans I had with Progressive for my home and auto insurance. All the time respectful that I was reluctant to leave my trusted broker. He found better plans on both house and auto than I could get with Progressive or anyone else. He suggested plans that would save my family and I close to a $1,000 yearly. Again, he was very personable and easy to work with. He treated me like a valued customer and worked to get my business. I hate leaving a company that worked so well with me for 30 years and will miss them. But Carl will continue to earn me and my families trust/respect. After getting to know him, that'll we be doing business together for a long time. I suggest you give Carl Kramer at this State Farm and opportunity to earn your business as well.
